Horizontalarm-KMG RS

The machine concept of the RS CMMs is based on a stable base plate as a measuring table with a laterally mounted guiding system.
The horizontal arm measuring device is highly flexible and can be integrated into an existing room layout without the need for a specific foundation. If necessary, it can also be relocated to a new site. 

Product Information

The RS measuring machines are available as manual or CNC-operated devices, as well as in hybrid configurations with disengageable drives. They can be supplied as single-, double-, or multi-column systems, equipped with tactile and optical sensors, and even with vibration damping. The 3D coordinate measuring machine (CMM) enables production-adjacent measurement of individual parts, assemblies, and final products, such as car bodies and other large workpieces. The CMM is available in two accuracy classes – Standard and Premium.

Applications

The primary application areas of the RS CMMs are in the automotive industry, where they are used for measuring, digitizing, and marking individual parts, assemblies, or entire car bodies. Typical components include bumpers, seats, dashboards, welded structures, and fixtures.
